The Ohio softball team earned NFCA GPA Team Honors, while seven Bobcats captured Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2023-24 academic year.
As a team, the Bobcats recorded a 3.32 GPA for the 2023-24 academic year.
Individually, Alexis Dawe (3.89), Belle Hummel (3.75), CiCi Keidel (3.70), Tori O’Brien (3.92), Annalia Paoli (3.90), Shelby Westler (3.84) and Maddie Wilcox (3.80) all earned Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors.
The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association’s membership categories. NCAA Division I led the way with 2,573 student-athletes earning a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for 2023-24. NCAA Division III followed with 2,285 and NCAA Division II with 1,510. NAIA and junior colleges came in with 873 and 808 student-athletes respectively. Five student-athletes from Penn State Brandywine earned recognition in the Other Four-Year category.
